All at once. We have delivery among locations daily. I get a list every month of things put in transit 5 months ago and not yet taken out.

(They generally have that status for only 1-3 days.) I look for the items on the list. About 90 percent of them are either found on my shelves (arrived here but not checked in properly) or on the shelf of the branch they were sent from (returned from a check-out to that branch, put in transit, but mistakenly shelved there instead of sent back). The remaining 10% are marked missing; about half eventually show up.

It's unprecedented to have 17 missing in one shipment from one branch. (These were all on the same subject, embroidery.)
