Why wouldn't they? If they believe the Bible, they would want you to read the source material for what forms their beliefs.

if I'm trying to prove to you why this housing material is better than another housing material, I'm going to ask you to read the literature saying as such.
Why would this be any different other than it has to do with religious teachings that matter to people?
