I applaud this man's commitment to his ideals, and his focus on the inclusion and love of Christ. But I am befuddled his insisting that opposition

to gay marriage is contrary to Christ's Gospel.
Christ declared several things unequivocally, some of which seem to contradict. Yes, he was inclusive concerning sinners (though during his mortal ministry, he only preached to Jews, the inclusion of Gentiles came later). But he was never tolerant of sin, and to the extent he ever forgave someone who was sinning, he always exhorted them to *stop* and to not do it again.
The very matter-of-fact conclusion many people have reached regarding gay marriage or homosexuality (and frankly, the whole range of sexual lifestyles and behaviors), that it has never been contrary to the morality demanded by Christ is just perplexing to me.
