Also, you're allegedly really pissed off at him but not enough to tell Lassiter (who's never bought it to begin with) or the Chief (who probably doesn't care since Shawn still gets results)? Yes, I'm probably reading too much into this for the show but still.
The "Sliding Doors"-type episode was really well done, though.
