I keep watching this beautifully restored Victorian house in town circle the toilet.

County records show what's going on. Sold for $103k in 2006 and again for $160k in 2006, then sold for $465k in 2008. I'm guessing the restoration happened between 2006 and 2008. No doubt, it's a beautiful restoration. But the people who bought it for half-a-mil can't afford it. Either the bank tried to sell it at auction, or the homeowners did (I don't know how the homeowners could, but they tried) and likely failed. They then tried to rent it out... ROOM-BY-ROOM (I thought it was tragic that they would be turning such a beautiful house into a boarding house). But that appears to have failed. So now they're trying to sell it again... for the same price they paid in 2008! Quite the optimists!
