When they say the TV stand can support TVs up to 50 inches... how serious are they?

'Cause if I'm going to get a 2nd TV stand, I'd rather use it to replace my main TV stand, and that's a 60" TV.

I'd be more concerned about the weight than the TV size. Generally, 135 lbs is their max, well within acceptable limits. -- nm
