Quite frankly, it was needed.

A lot of people were called in for fake interviews to suit the rule, ended up impressing head offices and got real interviews and jobs the next time around. It's an unmitigated success in my eyes, and you only need to look at the gap between black coaches in the NFL and the NCAA to see how effective it's been.
