well, i have a couple of ideas, the framework of which is borrowed from NPR "3 minute fiction" ...

we come up w/ an opening statement and a closing statement, and everyone has to write what happens between the 2 statements. it should be something that can be read in about 3 minutes. often times, this works out to around 1000 words.
I even have an idea or 2 for the "framework" sentences I can share later on. we'll see who all's interested in such a thing ...
