When I do my grocery lists, I think about what I'm going to be cooking, then make a few notes. Then when I make my list, I put it in order by "aisles"

Before I leave the house (or before I hand the list to Crash because he's awesome at shopping without buying a bunch of extras, plus he's freaking FAST) I double check the list, like--make sure I have a half pint of heavy cream on it because I'm going to make clam chowder. I swear, ordering it by aisles is the most efficient way to go, no doubling back, etc.
