Had a bit of sympathy for Christian Bale's character but was a bit bored. Bradley Cooper gave his best performance and it was easy to hate Jennifer Lawrence (comes naturally to me) although she's miscast - how old is she meant to be?

It wanted to be a Scorsese movie, and it wasn't.

Might start calling the microwave the science oven though.

Need to watch American Psycho again to get the belly out of my mind.
