Well, then you're getting into using the photos to make political points, which is awfully crass.

Journalism is supposed to be about informing, not trying to force readers to 'reflect' on certain issues.

Moreso, if soldiers are killed overseas in a specific engagement, and the best photo the writer/editor can think to include is a flag-draped coffin, that's just lazy.
