If you really want to be careful, here's what you do.

go to tools/internet options, click on the advanced tab. Scroll almost all the way to the bottom and check the box that says "delete temp files when browser is closed". Then go back to tools/internet options and click the "general" tab. At the bottom where it says, "days to keep in history", change the number to "0". Finally, click on "my computer", navigate to the "documents and settings" folder. Find the folder with your user name. Inside that folder should be a folder that says "temp files" and another that says "internet history". Select all the files in each folder and click delete. DO NOT simply click on the file folder (either "temp files" or "internet history") and delete them, you need the folders--just get rid of the guts.
