i hope this comes off well ... i mean, seriously, when you think about it, Boba Fett was overrated in episodes 4 - 6

he comes across all baddass and all ... but doesn't actually kill anyone. he relies completely on reputation. and in the end, he gets chump-dumped into the sarlaac, where he nearly goes insane before using his weapons to kill the sarlaac and escape not to be heard from again for a very long time.
it's only later in the books that have been written since then that he has any semblance of badass-dome ..
that being said, don't get me wrong. i love the character. he needs to be portrayed as the badass he was always meant to be.
