No, she was not written out. Her story arc was that she found out that Shawn was a fake. They broke up for several episodes before she eventually forgave him.
She shot the baseball series during the downtime from Psych. At the time, USA Network was leaning toward ending Psych but they seem to be in favor of it continuing while Back in the Game is doubtful to receive a second season.
