He wanted info from Locke, but his relationship with Eloise seems too established for that to be what he needed to know.

Not at all sure what Jin being alive would mean to Ben.

It could be something else. Ben killed Locke because Locke had to be *murdered* to be resurrected.

If we're going with the religious themes, suicide keeps you out of Heaven. Might it also keep you off the Island?
