We received a GC for Christmas to a Cirque du Soleil show of our choice. Looks like the only 2 local options will be Amaluna and Michael Jackson: Imm

Immortal.

I've never seen a Cirque show. From the previews, it looks to me that Amaluna is their normal "holy shit, how are they doing that?" kind of show, whereas the MJ show is lots of dancing. No real mid-air craziness.

Does that sound about right? Are the shows with the Beatles/MJ soundtracks not as "crazy" as the others?

cirque starts with traditional circus acts as a premise, but a lot of imaginative costumes, theatrics, just cool stuff -- nm - zeitgeist Jan 6, 14:02
