the big TV things (Sat, Night Main Event, I think) where Elizabeth went down, Hogan took her to the back leaving Savage on his own in the ring against whatever tag team they were going up against? and after the match, Savage went to the back and jumped Hogan?

yeah, word got out early over that swerve. I remember a guy my dad knew saying something about it a few days before hand, and when it happened I really hated the guy. he was shattering my Pro Wrestling bubble.
