while I tend to agree with you...the business was changing...and at his age he really was the gatekeeper for the Upper Mid Card guys...

if you could roll with Benoit in matches and keep up they'd move you up to the A List. But Chris was always the mechanic that made guys earn their spots in the WWE at least....
