so, further to that burst pipe post last night, i just got an email from my lawyer....

this is what it says (yeah, i don't like the sound of THIS)...

"It appears that the management company hired a professional company to bring in the appropriate commercial fans and it also looks like they are also working with the insurance company to repair all of the damage.

We may not receive this confirmation in writing before closing. Is there any way that you can attend at the property tonight to take a look at the damage?

We would need the permission of the seller to meet you there.

Based on what I have learned, I would recommend that we hold back $10,000 on closing until the work has been completed."
