So...I have a big favor of ST. This is serious. The favor is: Don't be interesting for the next 12-24months.

I was just offered a position I've been circling since Thanksgiving.

It started out as a casual pursuit, something to get me out of the group I'm in but the more I investigated the subject matter and talked to the people the involved the more enthused I became. By the time I interviewed I realized that I really wanted this.

This has the potential to set up my career for the next phase. I'll be project managing an emerging little bit of tech/process that everyone nationally is becoming interested in. It won't revolutionize healthcare but it's within the suite of technologies that could.

It's highly visible within the organization. Everyone with a "Chief" in their title knows about this and is interested in it's success.

I could end up being the point person for this little bit of technology for a nationally known healthcare organization.

If things break right - it could be the career boost I've needed.

I haven't said anything until now because it wasn't official but I was just offered the position by HR so I feel comfortable that it's real at this point.

So, I need ST to be boring for the next year or two. I can't be here as often. If you see me here on a regular basis during the day - I need you to throw me out of here. Bery: use force if necessary.
