I'll be working with some of the creative shops. Some of the people who get to tinker with tech. If it works, is practical, is cost effective (to build, manage and then for the patients) - it gets used.
I've wanted to work with these types for years.
The group I'm working with is the group that takes the tech that passed feasibility/cost effectiveness and gets put into the implementation phase. That's me.
Some of these people are the smartest folks I've known professionally. They're scary smart. One programmer picked up a book in the late 90s on HTML because she wanted to. She taught herself and essentially built a fully functioning Electronic Medical Record system. It was so good that when her version came into competition with the organizations version - her version survived despite all manner of political pressure. I want to take her brain out to dinner and a movie.
