Update: She's now claiming she told the bank to unlink the overdraft protection.

I doubt that, though. When I told her, back in August, how the accounts were still linked, and the amount of money it overdrafted from her (She didn't even know it happened), she didn't say anything about requesting that the overdraft link be severed.
