ok so - I had a bit of "JenBro Irony" today ... a friend and I got picked for a contest where we get to dine out - gourmet - they photo and film us -

as one of 5 featured for "Restaurant Week" - and the restaurant we are going to? just yesterday the chef there responded to a web request I sent them last month for their recipe for boeuf bourguignon - sent me an email with the recipe attached and a few tips to prepare part of the side dish that accompanies it for the breakfast dish I have had and adore (it's served over a creamy semolina with eggs over easy)

the feature being produced airs sometime in the third week of February - so I'll be meeting the chef sometime in the next couple weeks

this should be fun

oh - and if this isn't "text book defined irony" - bite me - I'm calling it "JenBro Irony" - it's a new category and I'm claiming all rights for defining it ... so there!
