And attempting to read Just So Stories to my niece soured me on reading! It was awful! Nothing like my childhood memories!

"Hey, what would a story read like if Dr. Seuss had a stroke and took acid before he sat down at the typewriter?" Just So Stories, that's what! I had to cut out half the words and just use the structure to make up stuff that *I* could understand, let alone my niece.
