The one you'll have to wait forever for is Pappy's Smokehouse in the city. I've heard it's fantastic (and it's won several national awards in the past few years) but the wait can be 2 hours to get into the door and no food is worth that to me.

A newer place that I love but that is quickly getting a reputation (and the accompanied wait) is Sugarfire. They're getting ready to open a second location pretty far out that we're going to check out but the original location is so good. So, so good. It's right down from work and it's really hard for me to not go in there.

There's a few other smaller places that are really good but harder to find. Both of the first two are fairly short drives off of the highway.
