So my point is that Atlanta can't block would go to the defense only in your statement. Not that Atlanta was horrible. Julio Jones was a huge loss. So the defense looks better.
The Patriots gashed Indy last week because they could not stop the run and they got hammered by that. Today Denver having watched film went all out on the run. Brady missed an open receiver for a sure TD. Overthrown.
If the Pats had Gronk for the middle stuff, this game would be different. You would then have to put an extra player in the middle opening up things on the corners and run.
The Patriots are one run dimentional. The Colts also shot themselves in the foot with Luck Picks. So the score is also reflective of their offensive mistakes. So because of turnovers that offense looked much better.
