data gathering state that they believe that if the NSA would have had this in 2001 that 911 could have been prevented. Funny they never mention how it failed in Boston even after Russians phoned the US and asked that the bombers be investigated as potential terrorists. I guess the Boston bombers had gone dark and never used a phone or the internet. The more data you have the more people you need to analyse it.
