Plenty of people use bitcoin, otherwise it wouldn't be valued so highly.

Dogecoin = US$0.03 at the moment, so it's tiny compared to bitcoin - but people are converting it to and from bitcoin and then converting the bitcoin to USD.
So you get enough dogecoin, you can turn it into actual money.
