They way it was told and some of the info was wrong to be put into that piece and wasn't necessary.
There was a story there and it went too far.
I really don't like how Simmons is trying to take all the blame as if the writer is some high school kid putting out his first piece. He's 31.
The editor as well deserves a lot of blame for allowing it get published as it was.
A big issue for me is that he glossed over that the writer outed her to an investor. He wants us to believe the whole thing was simply an error in judgement in getting things looked at by the right people.
Too many people read that piece before it was published for that stuff to get through and be left in it.
I don't think Simmons is as hands on as he wants us to believe and I still blame the writer and the editor for that piece.
I most definitely don't blame them for the suicide but I wonder how much the questions and stress of the whole thing affected her mental well being.
