also this was reported earlier in Feb

Sony has divulged that European pre-orders for Guerrilla Games� hotly anticipated Killzone 2 have reached 1.1 million as of last week.

�The 1.1m pre-orders are for Europe only and that's [as] of last week," the company told CVG. North American pre-order figures have yet to be revealed.

.."first week" is kind of bogus for this one anyway because it was released on a Friday. I'll be surprised if it doesn't set a record for PS3 game sales before the end of the year.
