so it is not for real money? - yet? this is so crazy - I wonder how fast it will sell to it's daily limit?

I think they gave everyone $1,000 in free money. -- nm

$1,000 was the minimum for any beta tester. If you said you were going to invest more, I think they'd give your beta account more money.

No, not yet. They're in beta, and still obviously have many bugs to work out. -- nm

yeah who decides who gets 1st dibs on selling? when Jonas Bros type event takes place - who gets to shove it off 1st?

Not sure. Hopefully, they'll lower volatility enough to where almost everyone can short if they want to. -- nm

They can't. If no one's buying it at a lower price, you can't be shorting, basically. -- nm

That's true. I meant that they could avoid the situation where the stock can't be shorted because it already hit the lower daily limit. -- nm

Cantor is gonna have to find money when this happens to them in real life and everybody shorted it.

So what was the intial contract offering price? I thought a surprise flop would be good for Cantor. A surprise hit would be bad. -- nm

I *think* when they pushed the beta live, the prices were based on HSX prices. But the stock doesn't freeze on Friday, so it started dropping on Sat. -- nm

Around 80, IIRC. I think how good it is for Cantor would depend on how many are holding the stock short, and how many are holding it long. -- nm

Have they done an initial offering auction yet or just started things at hsx prices?

No, they didn't do an initial auction. It was at the HSX price.
