Have they done an initial offering auction yet or just started things at hsx prices?

The way I understood it the stocks would start trading with an initial offering auction. Didn't think you could short that. So at that point they are selling everyone stock at that price. In the end they have to buy it all back at the closing price. Everything in between I assumed was irrelevant to their bottom line except for commissions. That's how I understood it at least.
