Okay - I was going to post this so we could talk about - glad you brought it up

I have to rant a bit and I can actually show my math.
I think the writers have really gone astray from the original intent of this series or at least the focus of the 1st Season ( how does it all work out when you are a Polygamist?)
the writers have completely done a 180 on every single character. A few and I could have lived with it but every one??
Bill - strong and had always been able to pull them all back together at least by the end of the episode - now he is having issues of Faith
Barb - she was always the muddled one, things would happen to her and she just reacted. Now she is taking charge and ordering Nikki and her daughter around? really - she got backbone all of a sudden?
Joey - the haphazard slower younger brother - he is now defending his family and threatening Adeline??
Nikki - you have hit some points - she has always been selfish and out for Nikki number 1 - but to kiss another man?? that is so out of character and it bothers me the most
Margene - she loves the life, loves the family and dotes on the kids and now all of a sudden she can't handle it??
Sarah - the headstrong daughter - who always did not like the lifestyle but had her own ideas on what to do - now she is faltering?? teenagers do this but they built her up stronger.
I hate to see Roman and the Greens gang up - not that is out of character but seems like cheap filler to me.
The last scene in my opinon was STUPID - even if symbolic - the long hair is a symbol of their faith keeping them/binding them - so much that it can kill them?? really - left field and I thought it unbelievable. Killing her in a truck accident would have been a stretch but this was too much.
with all that - I love, love every single character - I even like Crazy Wanda and Crazy Lois.
