Lipinski/Weir definitely need to be NBC's A team for figure skating.

I'm only going by today because I didn't see anything earlier. The one thing that stood out for me was when a skater would make a mistake. Most of the time there would be nothing said until a quiet part of the routine, then there was thoughtful insight. None of the histrionics other commentators indulge in immediately after a flub. "OMG, there goes the medal!"

But apparently prime time audiences want the drama.
