I still don't get how that skater got a score so high yesterday. She did very well but that score seemed oddly high. I'm not going conspiracy theory here but that score seemed shady to me at the time. Still does but it's over now.

The actual numbers don't really matter. Giving her a score that high is as much telling the rest of the field the judges think she'd be hard to beat. -- nm

There are also things in the structure of the program. They kept harping on here about how jumps in the second half of the program count double. -- nm
