they take ages to become bright, they contain poisonous stuff, they don't live as long as the old lightbulbs .. but of course we had to ban the old ones because the new ones are so much better.

crap. gettig LEDs now.

CFLs aren't ideal for certain uses (recessed fixtures). But LEDs have really come down in price and improved in quality. - TWuG Feb 22, 11:04 1
