Turned down $14M to stay with the Rangers, signed a one=year deal with the O's for $8M (with $750k possible in bonuses).

If you're an MLB player on the wrong side of 30 coming off a drug suspension and costing a draft pick to sign you should probably accept any 8-figure offer you get.
