After the divorce we moved to the big city. 6th grade. First day, I tried riding the bus home for the first day in my life.

They did not stop in front of my apartment complex as I was told they would. I stayed on the bus. After a while I realized we were not circling back around. The driver drove me home after the end of the route. I never rode a bus again. From then on I walked to the mall (four blocks) after school. Spent a good deal of time at Radio Shack, playing with their computers.
