I miss Tower Records. It was an integral part of my Junior High, HS, and college years

I remember my first visit to Tower being the one in Honolulu and having only previously had access to stores like Warehouse and Sam Goodys, it was music nirvana. And then turning the corner pop culture nirvana. What are all these magazines and zines and books?
Then in high school the nearest Tower was about a 30 minute drive and taking advantage of their till midnight hours, Veronica and had many a trip after I finished my shift at the theater at 10-11 PM. My parents only shared with us recently that they always thought that the two of us were 'wink wink' record shopping. Alas I was relatively boring and we really were off to Tower at least once a month.
