they had to shovel some snow to feed the electrical thing through to my house - and then my steps were not the easiest to negotiate because some ice had built up with snow ... and one of the guys actually took the shovel and cleared them a bit more.

I wasn't being too cheap with 10$ each was I? I mean - I get it that it's their job and everything - but it's been a helluva Winter for them and I just felt like they needed to know their kindness in how they acted was appreciated.
