OK, let's detail debate another matchup: Green Day vs. Rage Against The Machine.

I almost feel incapable of picking between these two. Green Day started with a juggernaut, had that mediocre mid-career slump, and then came back with some fantastic stuff. RATM may be one of the most underrated bands of the 1990's. This one is so so close to me. It is going to double overtime.
