and the flight changes to now go to Buenos Aires and spend an extra couple days in a hotel there before I can get on the cruise are cost prohibitive.

if I cancel everything, which is looking like the right option, is gonna cost me the $1800 I have into the trip, but save me another $1000 or so in BA hotels
