Obviously I think this should be done without pressure from Russia, and I think there are a majority of people in Crimea who genuinely want to be part of Russia.

I just think the Maidan are saying Sure, we bypassed democracy and used intimidation to get the government we want, but you Crimeans can't use democracy to get the government you want.

I don't see any justification for saying that Crimea is different than South Sudan.

I also don't believe that Russia would attempt any more incursions in the rest of Ukraine if everyone came to the table and did the paperwork to allow that Crimea to join them. yes yes, that's what the naive said about Hitler, but I do think Putin and Crimea are different.

That's me on record anyway.
