What I really appreciate about this is that the kid isn't just railing against authority. He's actually trying to have the rule changed

by canvassing the neighborhood and getting signatures and stuff.
He's doing everything the right way and it would suck for him to start getting fined for this.
And shame on the people who are bitching about it.
