It's a great little film. Whimsical, fun and poignant.
Non Stop - C- The action is good but the end was a hack even for this liberal.
300 Sequel - D- The only reason to see this is for the woman who plays the Persian warrior queen. The greek hero just isn't up to matching Butler's performance, not that the history and the script of it are up to the task. They give him 3 or 4 Speeches to do and the almost all fall flat. There's absolutely no comic book element to this either. It's just a standard story telling.
The ultra violence feels obscene without lack of style at this point. Apparently we're all full of crimson motor oil.
various episodes of Deadwood - A+. It starts out at an A+ and then just never lets up although S3 has some storylines that don't live up to the others in previous seasons. I watched the last few mins of the last episode and it made me sad that we'll never get a proper ending.
