used to be really bad...like, murders every day bad.. but it's been cleared out in the past few years.

weird area.. it looks like a scary ghetto, but there's barely anybody living in the area now. where we live, it's two blocks of grass lots up to the main street. developers are just biding their time.
it's a great location - bike path right outside my door, train going in a little south, i can drive to a job in downtown in less than 10 minutes. prime real estate, but people need to feel comfortable before them move in..
i feel safe in the area.. it's a little weird, but we can do what we want and it's quiet :)
