And yes, he was *not* nice. A lot of characters are really nasty in this game. But there are some that are a little more ambiguous.
I have the same issue with Job Class. I want to try them all out rather than focus on one and get it really leveled up. But now I'm kind of at a point where I've chosen my favorite ones and am using them (I really like Pirate and Ranger - Pirate has some awesome abilities that can really make a difference in a fight.)
