I think that his daughter died, that someone in the government killed her (I think she was one of the people who the guy who dissolves people, disposed of).
I think Lizzie is the real daughter of the guy who killed his daughter…Her adopted dad (who died) watched over her to keep her safe from Remington (at least her identity)…Remington is going to make sure that nothing happens to Lizzie, until she's moved up and in the perfect position for him to kill her, and make the guy pay, by killing her
