Home Inspection contracts are pretty standard in limiting the Inspector's liability to the cost of the inspection. Caveat Emptor. -- nm

and if you think about it, no one would ever do home inspections if they could be put on the line for the cost of a house

my dad's stone chimney collapsed a month after he moved in. the engineer they hired to rebuild said that it should have been caught by the home insp.
