my dad's stone chimney collapsed a month after he moved in. the engineer they hired to rebuild said that it should have been caught by the home insp.

and while the home insp agreed, it turns out he had zero liability for the cost of the rebuild.
which was like $40k.
appar inspectors have no responsibility for things they miss in PA.
